Hammonton Regular Republicans Announce Latino Summit

The Club will be hosting the “Latino Leadership Summit” in October. Joseph Ingemi, the Club’s Policy Steering Committee Chairman, discussed the event:

“Our Latino community shares our Hammonton values of hard-work, the importance of faith and family, and a spirit of community service. Therefore, I am happy to announce that our Club will be hosting a ‘Latino Leadership Summit’ to discuss ways to bring our Latino community into the political life and governance of our town. We will be inviting business owners, clergy and civic leaders from the Latino community to share their ideas with us.”

Salopalooza: Big Success

On Saturday, August 23rd, the Hammonton Regular Republican Club honored council candidate, club member and veteran Sal Mazza at its Salopalooza fundraiser. A great time was had by all. Club President Charles Woolson said, “There is no one more deserving of this honor than Sal. He always puts others ahead of himself. I am glad we took the time to celebrate his service.” Freeholder Jim Bertino added, “Sal is a true community servant. Sal, Steve (Furgione) and Mike (Torrissi), will make an excellent team on Town Council along with Mickey (Pullia).” In response, Sal Mazza stated:

“I am humbled to receive this recognition. I don’t accept this honor on behalf of myself but for all those who work hard in their own way to make this town a better place to live. It is this commitment to civic service that makes Hammonton so special. It is this commitment that Steve, Mike and I will take to Town Council.”
