Republican’s Announce Upcoming Events

The Hammonton Regular Republican Club will be holding its monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 14th at 7 pm. The meeting will be at El Mariachi Loco (101 Bellevue Ave, Hammonton) and is open to the public. Note to supporters: Club meetings will now be the second Tuesday of each month unless otherwise noted.

There will also be Fundraiser for 5th District Freeholder and Hammonton resident, Jim Bertino, as he seeks re-election. The fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at Annata Wine Bar (216 Bellevue Ave, Hammonton) from 6-8 pm with a recommended donation of $40.00.
Join the official start of the 2015 campaign season at the annual Hammonton Republican Champagne Breakfast at Tomasello Winery (225 N. White Horse Pike, Hammonton) from 10 am-noon on Sunday, May 3. Recommended donation: $25.00.
All three events will be a great opportunity to discuss your ideas and concerns with state, county and local candidates, especially Hammonton’s Own: Jim Curcio, Surrogate; Jim Bertino, 5th District Freeholder; and Hammonton Town Council Candidates Joe Giralo, Otto Hernandez and Mickey Pullia.

Hammonton Republicans Announce 2015 Town Council Ticket

Joe Giralo, Otto Hernandez and Mickey Pullia have declared their candidacy to the Atlantic County Board of Elections clarifying their intent to seek the Republican nomination for Hammonton Town Council.
Joe Giralo is a 15-year member of the Hammonton Board of Education and up until 2014 served as the board’s President. Although Giralo’s commitment to Hammonton is well known in many civic circles Joe is best known for engineering the financial turnaround of our Hammonton Public Schools. Joe is employed as a Program Administrator for the Atlantic County Improvement Authority and is lifelong Hammonton resident. Joe and his wife Gina have two children, Gianna, 17 and Gemma, 15 both students at Joe’s alma mater Hammonton High School.
Otto Hernandez is Vice President of Academic Affairs at Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing, NJ. Otto is a life long resident of Hammonton and a proud graduate of Hammonton High School. Otto holds both a Master’s Degree from Saint Joseph’s University and a PhD from Capella University. Otto is a critical player in the efforts to leverage emerging technology opportunities in Atlantic County as well as Hammonton.
Mickey Pullia is a two term Republican incumbent councilman here in Hammonton. Mickey has deep roots in community service having recently marked his 28th year of service as a Hammonton Volunteer Firefighter. Mickey is the principal real estate broker at his family business ML Ruberton agency which has been serving Hammonton’s residents for over 100 years. Mickey and his wife Cheri have two children, Sophia, 8 and Olivia, 4.
The Joe, Otto and Mickey will formally announce their candidacy and address many devoted members of the Republican Party at a Champagne Breakfast on May 3, 2015 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Tomasello Winery on White Horse Pike in Hammonton.

Congratulations to Hammonton’s Own!!!

Congratulations to Hammonton Residents  Jim Curcio and Jim Bertino for receiving the GOP nomination for the offices of Surrogate and 5th District Freeholder, respectively. They received the GOP nod at the Atlantic County GOP convention that was held on March 21st at the Cologne Firehouse.

Hammonton Regular Republican Club Hosts County Candidates, Announces 2015 Officers

On February 3rd, the Hammonton Regular Republican Club held its monthly meeting. Somers Point Council President Maureen Kern spoke to those attending. Maureen is a candidate for Freeholder-at-Large. She spoke about the great efforts by the County administration to diversify and expand Atlantic County’s economy. Her goal as Freeholder would be to continue this work. She encouraged Hammontonians to take part in the economic development process the county has set up by attending upcoming forums and completing online surveys.

Fifth District Freeholder Jim Bertino, who will be running for re-election this year, reiterated the importance of the economic development process. He also discussed the fiscal discipline that the county has been exercising in the budgeting process.

County Surrogate Jim Curcio also spoke. He announced that he would be running for re-election for surrogate this year. He discussed the innovations he has introduced to the surrogate’s office.

In other business, the club elected its new officers for 2015: Charles Woolson as President; Dom Berenato and Sal Velardi as Vice-Presidents; Linda Pajic as Treasurer; Joseph Ingemi as Secretary; James Matro II as Parliamentarian; and Richard Byrnes as Sergeant-at-Arms.For more information about Hammonton Regular Republican Club, contact us at info@hammontongop.org.

The Hammonton Regular Republican Club will be holding its monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 3rd at 7 pm. The meeting will be at The Grand Chinese Dining, located at Hammonton Square Shopping Center, 85 South White Horse Pike.
Atlantic County Republican officials and candidates will be on hand to provide their vision for the 2015 campaign and answer any questions from attendees.
